one sleepy monkey.
i love to give birthday presents, but what do you give somebody who already has everything?
every year its the same question, hmmm…
well this year, i give miss punka a people like us cd [among a few other things ].
“what a cheap bastard, thats a free for download cd”, you may now think.
true, its a free cd, but i downloaded it, burned the cd, printed out the cover AND i am giving vicky bennet a big nice donation for it.
[actually i am still trying to convince vicky to set up a donation account…]
could this be a new form of direct-action-sponsoring distribute-the-love-scheme: donate money to interesting, free, cultural or social online-projects as birthday presents to friends and family?
i love it! thanx alot!!! kisses you *there*
PoP, Love the blog…very cool.
I love the idea of direct action sponsorship, and I’ve been involved in that kind of thing in the meat world for a few years,(sponsor a 3rd world child etc…)I especially like the idea of small socially/culturally/ecologically conscious projects accepting electronic microdonations…and like the idea of giving them as gifts even more…great idea.

i quite agree that this is a nice idea, it would need a snappy name and we could promote it, could we not? but now my paypal account got killed.
and i have not a clue why…
and they are not writing me back. its quite bizarre really… there would have to be a VERY COOL donation thingy to go with it because if one reads paypals fair use conditions almsot all projects i would want to support could be offenders in one or another way…
