NEMA in da house

NEMA is the swiss version of the famous german encryption machine enigma and this last week we had one in our house for a few days…
now this is an amazing piece of machinery. it smells like hell and looks like shite but it sure is fascinating…
thank good this is all done with ‘puters nowadays coz the sucker sure is heavy…
the cutest part is its name:
NEMA [not to be confused with 99 luftballons NENA!] stands for neue maschine which in english means new machine. new being a relative term this sure sounds old now…
