I used to paint a fair bit myself in my younger more rebellious days, I’m fascinated at how street art has evolved from what was essentially a signature, to a form of protest..Banksy’s work is fantastic, but he’s trying a bit too hard now….he was at his best when he stenciled “authorised grafitti area” on white walls all over london, in my opinion.

its funny that you say bansky is trying too hard. i actually quite appreciate how he tries to take things onto the next level. his philosphie and politics are spot-on me thinks… but hey
No I agree, what he’s doing is the best of it’s kind on earth, and his political standpoint is virtually identical to mine, it’s more the way he’s stopped doing what he did originally, and has moved on…the statue he cemented in clarkenwell, was a brilliant idea, but I haven’t seen any decent paintwork from him in ages, thats the bit I appreciate most….none of my work online I’m afraid (my last piece would have been about 10 years ago now) I may have some photos at my parents house, I’ll have to have a dig around.
