eyes on the prize: tonite in bern [updated]1 min read

edit: the screening in bern went well. no arrests. a whooping 13 people attended.
i am joking, but thanx for coming. it was great, somehow very moving to be a part of this international action and to know that the film was getting shown in 80 other places around the world. 8’o’clock local the same day. other than in the US it was shown in canada, tokyo, paris, berlin, milan, rome, 3 x in vienna, wakefield GB (wherever the fuck that is) and bern (wherever the fuck that is).
as far as i can tell on the downhillbattle website all screenings went well. except in LA, quite ironically, where no copies of eyes on the prize are available in the public library system. a few hours before the screening “our” guy in LA still had not gotten the video.

what next? i still would like to be able to “get” the rest of the episodes, 3 down, 3 to go (actually 11 to go if you count part II of the series) and maybe show a few more.

from then on the battle will be downhill…
