downhillbattle.org has launched participatoryculture.org, a new platform for internet television and video, that will allow users to upload as well as download video using the bittorrent technology.
they are developping tools for both ends. dtm will be a fullscreen player to watch tv shows on computers that lets the user subscribe to channels. while broadcast machine can be used to upload and distribute video using the bittorrent technology (easier than most blogging software).
the software will be launched in june 2005.
