jean jacques perry website – the seminal electronic musician, who released EVA and moog indigo in the 60’s[!] ind you, has a website and this animated gif is just priceless. there is also a rather funky music interface that lets you play some .ram files of his music.
the strangest german websites of the year – remember string-emil.de [don’t click this link, habi, resist the temptation!]? well, he made 2nd place. along with parapluesch.de, the psychiatric clinic for abused stuff animals [another fine animGif here …errr.. whats seems to be going on?]. but 1st place was taken away by pascalhens.de a handball player who everybody calls “pommes” which means french fries…

question of the week:
masturbatory dj’s, who simply don’t get it; obnoxious, sweaty drunk guys, who rub up against you; unbreathable air, because of too much smoke; the music so loud it gives you a headache… and i could go on.
is it just me or has clubbing really just gone unbearable?
[and i went to see M.I.A. which had to be TEH bestest gig to re-introduce myself to the nightlife…]
i can’t bear to see string-emil anymore! almost as annoying as the buch of chicks behind me that were screaming and chattering all the time during the concert. one of those (i presume they were all secretaries going out without their blokes) was shouting “those beats are soo cool!” all the time.
did you leave before they started to throw water around? which was even more annoying than the whole other stuff. i wholeheartedly agree to your question of the week, although i can’t answer it…
oh mang. to be fair to “clubbing”. not all clubs are as stuffy and hot and have such horrendous “feng shui” as wasserwerk in bern does. a gig in winter @ dachstock is a whole ‘nother ballgame.
yeah, and the dachstock is (mostly) much more spacy, even if there are a huge bunch of people…
