Hey,
I got to this blog through http://www.werenotafraid.com and I think that the “iamfuckingterrified.com” website is a cheap tacky imatation and not good for boosting morale in britain. Plus it’s just a load of shit. Someone has obviously thought it’ll be good and get loads of attention. It sucks and I think people should not visit or post pictures on it. Whoa! That really got me all worked up.

hi mike. i am sorry this got you so worked up. while i agree with you on some level, it is cheap and it is tacky, i also think it is quite funny, and i always think humor is good for morale. i am heavily envolved with werenotafraid.com and of course it is the better message. but spoof websites like iamfuckingterrified.com are such a logical consequence in the web context that i can’t get worked up about it and just try to see the humor. and some of the contributions are excellent.
what pisses me off are all the tshirt shops using the “we’re not afraid” logo without clearing it with us, now those are the real sharks. and what makes me sad is that boingboing.net, the biggest blog, if it can still be called that, never mentioned werenotafraid.com until they found a way to make fun of it and plugged iamfuckingterrified.com a few days ago.

I feel sorry for you more, with all the shops trying to cash in on something that isn’t theirs. It must be hard keeping track of people making fake merchadise. Good Luck with all of that.
