i saw this story on the news on TV today. 15-year-old Ram Bomjon has been meditating under a boddhi tree in bara, nepal for awhile now. huge exitement, people think he is the buddha’s returned.
what an absurd and somehow amazing story to see on TV.
i mean, what if he really is the buddha?
then his enlightenment will happen on TV.
what if he fails to reach enlightenment?
then his failure was on tellie.
