bedroom dj special

this week has a very distinctive ex-dj flavor. a few days ago this born called me “schlafzimmer dj” in an article about blogs in the BZ. he is right of course, i no longer DJ in clubs. and i am glad that i don’t. but as you all know i keep djing here at home – in the room next to my bedroom. but the ex-dj theme went on. then on wednesday lia b visited me. she is an ex-dj and she introduced me to some of the tracks i used for the mix today. yesterday finally i met up with bengston for a very inspiring chat on what it means to be an ex-dj, that went on to cover the music industry, copyright, his label, the works.

this silly mix is dedicated to all the ex-club-dj’s. bedroom djing rawks!

a word about copyleft:

all music and audio is borrowed with the utmost respect for its creators. however, i do consider this to be fair use. this material is created purely for fun, to share with my online friends. there is no commercial transaction involved. as a long-time dj i own 5’000+ albums in vinyl and quite a few cd’s. all the music i use for these mixes, i either own a copy of or it was released under a CC-license to begin with.
i release all my work, the dj work as well as all my other coding and creating, under a creative commons license, hence i treat this material as if it was under CC license. i attribute it and i do not use it for commercial gain. don’t try to sue me, i am broke anyway.
