there are these days where you just feel like the bug inside the window, who keeps trying to fly outside, but keeps hitting the window, untill he or she (is a bug a she?) knocks her/himself out….
its like this line from this song i liked, when i heard it in it’s countryversion, but got all jaded about, when i found out it was by the dire straits:
sometimes you’re the windshield, sometimes you’re the bug…
well today i am a the bug,
on the inside,
wanting out,
and just not smart enough to notice the open window just a little to the side
just step back on or two steps and get a bigger picture or what you are and where…and I think you’ll notice the window….and the door on the otherside…and the bed in the room to rest….and the fridge with food to eat….and the breeze of fresh air coming through the window….
🙂
“it’s better to burn out than to fade away” or “it’s better to hit a window than to burn in a flytrap” 😉
ha haaahhh
true!
but then i you gotta wonder about them bugs too, don’t you. i mean, how many hundred years ago glasswindows got invented, and still them bugs did not realise that you cannot just up and fly through them??? evolution is kreeping at a sloooooouuwww pace… dudes
