for some reason i can’t really get into the book jPod. at any rate i am reading it very sloooooowwwwww. it’s got its moments. today i found a great quote on page 248:

[…] we’re googling every ten minutes. the problem is, after a week of intense googling, we’ve started to burn out on knowing the answer to everything. god must feel that way all the time. i think people in the year 2020 are going to be nostalgic for the sensation of feeling clueless.

  1. I liked the book, but hated the ending. It’s… unrealistc. Unliterary. Unexpected. Suprising. New. A change.

We don’t like change. We fear change. We want our novels to end like we are used to.

  2. ok. so technically speaking this is not a spoiler. but it goes awfully close to being one. it skirts the line to spoilage, flirts with it.
but i agree, i would even say, from what i’ve read so far, i don’t really care about 9 pages of prime numbers, or page long spam email jams. poetry is fine, in poetry books, and that thing with writing himself into the novel, as a full-on prick mind you, i – am – not – so – sure
