french stop drm movement

stop drm

while shopping around for a cd by french dub band brain damage i discovered this logo of the french stop drm movement on their record labels website. french anti-drm activists seem quite organised, organising flash mobs and stuff. yup, read that right, flash mobs are still going strong in france as well …

but the real news is a link to a page by emi france, where emi explains to its customers how they can make a copy of their copy-protected cd’s. lol. there are 3 rather envolved tutorials for various situations, describing how to make a copy using a normal cd-burner, with computers and cd-burners in computers. absurdities like that make it almost worthwhile.
