one of my highlights in recent times has been to watch my godson tarik discover the internet. it’s only been a few months since he has access to broadband internet connection, now we often chat on skype, he tells me about gaming websites he frequents, he spams me with emoticons, even his webcam worked for awhile. he has a digital camera and sends me emails with huge photos of him snowboarding. i can feel his buzz, his exitement to discover this world, it is bloody amazing…
