kenny van hummel finally has given up, but we admired his persistence, fighting at the last position of the peloton, like a lion… what a great hero
edit: kenny did not give up!!! of course not. he fell and had an awful gash on his knee, that forced him to abandon the race… i also read somewhere, that due to his high popularity, a dutch tv station started to cover the TdF, following just kenny. and that was the day he had his accident and was forced to give up. can someone confirm?
Kenny is my hero too!! The race will not be the same with out him. I admired his determination and courage. I hope he rides again next year.
