Is it actually impossible to get a refund for a broken App purchased at the Apple App Store? This had never come up for me yet. All Apps i had purchased worked fine, or at least in an acceptable manner. Until recently, when I purchased the Official Tour de France App for my iPad. I was able to start it up once or twice last week. But since the actual race has started I never even managed to start the App up. It keeps crashing.. Yet reporting the problem to Apple didn’t help to get a refund… Hmmm. The App keeps crashing. What other valid reason is needed to get a refund?
edit: oh lookee here, just today, one week into the race mind you, they released an update, and it seems to work so far.
still. this is a timed event, it lasts 3 weeks. for 1 week the service does not work. shouldn’t apple grant refunds in such a case?
