where is pieceocast_050?

yeah, where is it? not here yet, is the short and sad answer. i skipped it. yup. i am still working on it. call me weird, yes, you may, but i thought 050 should be a big mix. a jubilee mix. a longer mix. and longer means, that i can’t handle it here with my sad 56k internet connection.
however, i don’t mean to imply that pieceocast 051 is no good. its nifty, spiffy and freestyley as usual. no wonder, since again it was made by my dj-squirrels, who this week mixed together samples from the movies we watched this weekend, the bruce sterling @ SXSW06 speech and the song qu’ran, that sampled someone reading from the holy book of muslims; the song, that has dissappeared in such a strange fashion from a re-issue of the classic brian eno & david byrne album My Life In The Bush of Ghosts and as a consequence was since then made available for free download on the glorious interweb. read more about this here. btw. that foreign language bit is russian, from the movie LILJA 4EVER and the girl says, mama, dont leave me, dont leave me, don’t etc. the usual.
