Title: Soyez Réalistes, Demandez L’Impossible
Yeah, it’s that old graffiti from May 68 in Paris. That’s almost 55 years ago. People knew back then that things needed to change, that they had to demand change. But then the boomers started their “long march through the institutions”, bought farm houses, remodeled them, and yadda yadda, they got complacent.
And now these same boomers compare young climate activists with nazis for daring to interrupt them.
But fuck. Time is not on our side.
Realistically we now have to demand the impossible.
And it might even be too damn late already.
But I repeat myself. And so do others.
Great conference last weekend in Berlin made me feel an inkling of hope.
So there you have it, another Pieceocast, a podcast of sorts. In a way. Possibly. Maybe. Guaranteed without talking, just music and samples!
