Roots Manuva rules. Unfortunately the new album isn’t as good as “Run Come Save Me” (imho).
i agree, but to compare any album to run come save me is almost unfair, because its one of the best hiphop records of all times. imho.
if you compare in a commercially way ‘roots imho’ may right. but in a artistic way is ‘awfully deep’ an interesting further development. and i think the real artiscic twist wasn’t ‘run come safe me’, it was ‘dub come save me’. witness dub is from outter space and to add after !the! hiphop album (r.c.s.m) !the! dub album (d.c.s.m) was just unique.

i agree that “awfully deep” is artistically very interesting and a step forward. i love the album as i wrote here. but i thought “run come save me” was way more out there, more “underground”, much more risky. and more varied. the best actually. so its just unfair to even compare them… oh, and dont even get me started on “dub come save me”!!1 the excellenceness!
