Marina Maral is known for her fantastic project Faces of Auschwitz, for which she colors black and white photos to striking effect. It is very powerful work. This image of a Buddhist monk is another example of her work. I have known the black & white version of this photo for years, even had it on a t-shirt long before Rage Against The Machine famously used it on their album cover.
