Title: In Random We Trust
As anyone willing to think it through knows there is no god. At least not in the literal sense. That’s just fiction to help people sleep and divert them from the fact that this is all pretty random. Amazing, but random. Random, but not a game either.
All this to say that my mix this week is random. The tracks do not have much in common other than they all clock in at around 120 bpm and that I discovered them in a random way. On the internet, in tv series, in my record collection. The result is house anthem meets arty poetry french thing meets jazzy moody number meets retro pioneer electronica meets hip hop remix by plaid of all people. And how fucking beautiful is last one, aye.
The mix is a bit rough around the edges, but that comes with the territory.
Pieceocast 100 will take me some time to finish as I would like it to become a sort of “best of / worst of Pieceocast” affair. I might publish another strange mix before # 100, that I have been working on. We shall see.
So there you have it, another Pieceocast, a podcast of sorts. In a way. Possibly. Maybe. Guaranteed without talking, just music and samples!
If you enjoy it, please tell a friend.
